Decided to go anyway. On the plane / off the plane. Marginal blasting with 8.2m quite pleasant in the sunshine, but kept drifting downwind and difficult to get back in the shifting wind. Stayed out too long in the end and can really feel it now. Gybing was improved by really pushing front arm forward and into the turn, pulling down on the boom; board went round smoothly on the rails, almost planing out despite lack of wind. Hence 3* instaed of 2. |
